According to the present safety situation and existing highway problems in our country, this article designs and improves the form and parameters of four types of deceleration markings based on the driver's physiology and the relevant provisions. Furthermore, it establishes the scene model by virtual reality simulation technology and analyzes reduction effect, security implications, and the recognition influence and illusion characteristics of all the deceleration markings through a combination of simulated driving experiment and the questionnaire survey. According to the results, this article assesses the effect of the deceleration marking and determines its scope and practical value.
