The present invention makes it possible to more accurately detect obstacles around a vehicle body. This agricultural machinery is equipped with: a vehicle body (3) that has front wheels (7F) and rear wheels (7R); a hood that is provided to the front side of the vehicle body (3); a protection device (9) that is provided to the vehicle body (3), and protects a driver seat; and an obstacle detection device (45) that can detect an obstacle, and is provided outward of the hood in the width direction thereof and forward of the protection device (9).
