The invention particularly relates to a signal timing method and system based on street-crossing pedestrian step speed classification. The method comprises the following steps: performing target detection on a video frame of a target pedestrian video to determine a pedestrian target; performing target tracking on the pedestrian target, matching a corresponding unique label ID, and predicting and updating an advancing track; the advancing track and the unique data ID corresponding to the advancing track are recorded in an associated mode; matching a corresponding unique data ID in a database according to the unique labeling ID, and obtaining a traveling track associated and recorded with the corresponding unique data ID, so as to judge the street crossing intention of each pedestrian target; and performing crowd classification according to the target step speed of the pedestrian with the street-crossing intention to determine the street-crossing crowd type so as to dynamically regulate and control the signal timing of the street-crossing signal lamp. According to the invention, real-time target tracking and street-crossing intention prediction can be carried out on the pedestrian target at the street-crossing signal lamp, and crowd step speed classification can be carried out on the pedestrian target according to the pedestrian step speed and signal timing control of the corresponding crowd step speed type can be realized.

    本发明具体涉及一种基于过街行人步速分类的信号配时方法与系统。方法包括:对目标行人视频的视频帧进行目标检测,确定行人目标;对行人目标进行目标跟踪,匹配对应的唯一标注ID并预测更新行进轨迹;将行进轨迹与其对应的唯一数据ID关联记录;根据唯一标注ID在数据库中匹配对应的唯一数据ID,并获取对应唯一数据ID关联记录的行进轨迹,进而判断各个行人目标的过街意图;根据有过街意图的行人目标步速进行人群分类以确定过街人群类型,进而动态调控过街信号灯的信号配时。本发明能够针对过街信号灯处的行人目标进行实时的目标追踪和过街意图预测,同时能够根据行人步速对行人目标进行人群步速分类并实现对应人群步速类型的信号配时控制。
