PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement support apparatus, a movement support method, and a driving support system capable of promoting optimization of battery consumption on a travel route even if the travel mode includes a traffic congestion interval.SOLUTION: A movement support apparatus comprises: a mode planning unit that plans, for each section formed by dividing a travel route from the current location to the destination, either an EV mode in which a power storage amount of a battery is not maintained or an HV mode in which the power storage amount of the battery is maintained; an information generation unit generating information on a travel mode to which the mode planning unit refers; and a traffic information acquisition unit acquiring traffic congestion information on the travel route. When the traffic information acquisition unit acquires the information on a section in which the traffic congestion occurs, the information generation unit compares a travel load in normal travel, of the section in which the traffic congestion occurs, with a constant travel load lower than that in the normal travel as a traffic congestion travel load that is set to the section in which the traffic congestion occurs, and generates a lower travel load thereof as information on the travel load in the traffic congestion section.

    【課題】渋滞区間が含まれる場合であれ、走行経路におけるバッテリの消費の適正化を促進することができる移動支援装置、移動支援方法、及び運転支援システムを提供する。【解決手段】移動支援装置は、現在地から目的地までの走行経路を区切った各区間に対し、バッテリの蓄電量を維持しないEVモードと、バッテリの蓄電量を維持するHVモードとのいずれかの走行モードを計画するモード計画部と、モード計画部が参照する走行負荷の情報を生成する情報生成部と、走行経路上の渋滞情報を取得する交通情報取得部と、を備える。情報生成部は、交通情報取得部により渋滞の発生している区間の情報が取得されるとき、該渋滞が発生している区間の通常走行時の走行負荷と、該渋滞が発生している区間に対して設定する渋滞用走行負荷としての通常走行時よりも低い一定の走行負荷とを比較して、いずれか低い方の走行負荷を当該渋滞区間の走行負荷の情報として生成する。【選択図】図3
