PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hull frictional resistance reduction method and a hull frictional resistance reduction device capable of reducing frictional resistance applied to a hull surface compared with a conventional art.SOLUTION: A hull frictional resistance reduction method comprises: leading bubbles generated by a bubble generating device forward through right and left conduits 10A; leading the bubbles from the right and left conduits 10A to three branched pipes 10C through respective distribution pipes; and blowing the bubbles toward a bow 2 including a stem 5 of a hull from respective blowing holes. In particular, during navigation of a vessel 1, bubbles generated by the bubble generating device are led through the conduits 10A to be blown from the blowing holes toward the inside of a guideway 8 (in seawater in the guideway 8). Thus, blowing the bubbles toward the bow 2 in a submerged part of the hull including the stem 5 of the hull, forms an air layer along side surfaces of the hull to reduce a frictional resistance of the hull.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】従来技術に比して、船体表面に作用する摩擦抵抗をより低減させることができる船体摩擦抵抗低減方法及び船体摩擦抵抗低減装置を提供すること。【解決手段】気泡発生装置から発生された気泡は、左右の導管10Aを介して前方へと導かれ、この左右の導管10Aからそれぞれ分配管を介して3本の分岐管10Cに導かれ、複数の各吹き出し穴から船体の舳先5を含む船首2に向けて吹出されることとなる。従って、船舶1の航行時に前記気泡発生装置から発生された気泡を導管10Aに導いて前記吹き出し穴より案内路8内に(前記案内路8内の海水中に)吹出して、前記船体の前記舳先5を含む前記船体の浸水部の前記船首2に向けて気泡を流すことにより前記船体の側面に空気層を形成して、前記船体の摩擦抵抗を低減させる。【選択図】図2
