The pilot of a supersonic aircraft may shorten the time in flight if he will: accomplish navigation in a single system; always attempt to move in the air by one and the same plan, orienting the main orthodrom at all levels of the route along the line of the given route; widely use navigational equipment for entering the aircraft into the given position. The given formula takes into account only the error of the approach of the plane at the given point by direction. It is assumed that the error of approach may be compensated for by a visual observation of the object to be photographed.
