Design features and leading particulars of two new modified automotive diesel engines OM 352 and OM 346 which supersede respectively, former prechamber OM 322 and OM 326; both are 6-cyl 4-stroke engines tested under severe operating conditions in short and long-haul traffic and on building sites; OM 352 develops 126/140 hp DIN/SAE respectively at 2800 rpm and will be used in trucks and buses; OM 346, of 180/200 hp or 202/220 hp DIN/SAE at 2200 rpm is for heavy-duty trucks.
