Report based on results of comparative tests on plain shank, screwtite, stronghold, and stronghold screw nails; tested grooved nails are superior in holding capacity to corresponding plain shank nails; because of advantages of grooved nails, their use is given more consideration; this will result in further replacement of less efficient nails and in better and longer lasting structures.
