Results of experiments made by Canadian National Railways to study possibilities of new high-speed train service between Toronto and Montreal, engineering considerations and conclusions, and required changes in facilities and operating procedures are discussed; characteristics of turbo train are examined in detail; methods of train evaluation and adaptation of facilities to new service.
