The invention provides a user detection system of an elevator, which suppresses overdetection of shadows caused by lighting environment and accurately detects users in a lift car and a waiting hall. An elevator user detection system according to one embodiment is provided with: an edge extraction unit (24a) for extracting edge information from a captured image of a camera provided in a car; a moving body detection unit (24b) that detects a moving body from the captured image on the basis of an edge change obtained by comparing the edges extracted by the edge extraction unit (24a) between images obtained consecutively as the captured image; and a person detection unit (24c) that detects the moving body as a person on the basis of the information on the moving body detected by the moving body detection unit (24b).

    本发明提供一种电梯的利用者检测系统,抑制因照明环境而引起的影子的过检测而准确地检测位于轿厢内、侯梯厅的利用者。一个实施方式的电梯的利用者检测系统具备:边缘提取部(24a),从设置在轿厢内的摄像机的摄影图像中提取边缘的信息;运动体检测部(24b),基于在作为上述摄影图像而连续得到的各图像之间对由上述边缘提取部(24a)提取出的边缘进行比较而得到的边缘变化,从上述摄影图像中检测运动体;以及人物检测部(24c),基于由上述运动体检测部(24b)检测到的上述运动体的信息,将上述运动体检测为人物。
