According to the embodiment of the invention, whether a light source which is too bright relative to the overall actual environment is seen in the rearview mirror or not can be represented through the overall image brightness and the target local image brightness, and whether the anti-dazzling function is started or not is judged, so that the accurate and automatic starting of the anti-dazzling function based on the actual environment is realized, and the driving safety of a user is improved.
