The invention relates to an anti-dazzling function starting method and device, equipment, a storage medium and a vehicle. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a target image collected by a rear camera of a target vehicle; wherein the rear camera corresponds to a target rearview mirror of a target vehicle; performing brightness processing on the target image to obtain first target environment brightness, which can be observed through the target rearview mirror, of the first environment area; wherein the first target environment brightness is the maximum value of the first local environment brightness of the first environment area; according to the first target environment brightness and the overall environment brightness, whether the anti-dazzling function of the target rearview mirror is started or not is judged; wherein the overall ambient brightness is ambient brightness collected by a preset light sensor of the target vehicle. According to the embodiment of the invention, the method achieves the precise and automatic starting of the anti-dazzling function based on the actual environment condition on the basis of the existing equipment of the vehicle, and improves the driving safety of a user.
