A plant (1) and a method for the recycling of components and operating fluids of a vehicle wherein the vehicles (2) are transported through a plurality of stations arranged in series and are disassembled according to a sequence opposite to that used to assembly them on an assembly line, leaving at the end a semi-finished product (10) formed at least by a part of the vehicle body (11) and which is sheared in a ball mill or hammer mill (8); the operating fluids being removed in advance by counter-pressure suction by piercing the shock absorbers (23) and a fuel tank (24) of each vehicle and/or pressurizing respective tanks thereof by accessing the vehicle control units; the airbags being previously detonated with the vehicle arranged in an aspirated booth (27), by accessing a diagnostic socket (30) of each vehicle (2) and being subsequently removed by cutting.
