To correctly detect elevator users by suppressing erroneous detection attributed to the brightness of a floor face, and reflect a detection result on door opening/closing control.SOLUTION: An elevator user detection system includes brightness measuring means, camera setting adjusting means, detection means, and door opening/closing control means. The brightness measuring means measures the brightness of a floor face of at least one of a car stop and a car by using an image obtained from a camera. The camera setting adjusting means adjusts setting information including at least one of an exposure time and a gain of the camera according to the brightness of the floor face measured by the brightness measuring means. The detection means detects a user present on the floor face from the image of the camera adjusted by the camera setting adjusting means. The door opening/closing control means controls a door opening/closing operation of a door of the car on the basis of a result of the detection by the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】床面の明るさに起因した誤検知を抑制して、利用者を正しく検知して戸開閉制御に反映させる。【解決手段】一実施形態に係るエレベータの利用者検知システムは、明るさ計測手段と、カメラ設定調整手段と、検知手段と、戸開閉制御手段とを備える。上記明るさ計測手段は、カメラから得られる画像を用いて乗場および乗りかごの少なくとも一方の床面の明るさを計測する。上記カメラ設定調整手段は、上記明るさ計測手段によって計測された上記床面の明るさに応じて、上記カメラの露光時間およびゲインの少なくとも1つを含む設定情報を調整する。上記検知手段は、上記カメラ設定調整手段によって調整された上記カメラの画像から上記床面に存在する利用者を検知する。上記戸開閉制御手段は、上記検知手段の検知結果に基づいて、上記乗りかごのドアの戸開閉動作を制御する。【選択図】 図1
