본 발명은 이차전지용 써멀패드 및 이를 갖는 전지모듈에 관한 것이다. 상기 전지모듈은, 충방전이 가능한 파우치형 전지셀과; 써멀패드를 사이에 두고 상기 전지셀에 밀착 고정된 상태로 전지셀에서 발생하는 열을 전지셀의 외부로 이동시키는 전열부재와; 상기 전열부재로부터 열을 전달받아 제거하는 냉각부로 구성되고, 상기 써멀패드는; 양면에 접착면을 갖는 일정두께의 시트형부재로서, 대상면에 대한 접착 고정시 접착면과 대상면의 사이에 기포가 갇히는 것을 방지하는 기포생성방지수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로한다. 상기와 같이 이루어지는 본 발명의 이차전지용 써멀패드는, 기포생성방지수단이 적용되어 있으므로, 대상면의 상태가 평활하지 않더라도 대상면에 완벽하게 접착할 수 있어 방열 및 접착효율을 상승시킬 수 있다.
The present invention relates to a thermal pad for a secondary battery and a battery module comprising same. The battery module comprises: a pouch-type battery cell capable of being charged/discharged; a heat transfer member for transferring heat generated in the battery cell to the outside of the battery cell while closely fixed to the battery cell with a thermal pad disposed therebetween; and a cooling unit for receiving and removing the heat transferred from the heat transfer member, wherein the thermal pad is a sheet-type member, which has an adhesive surface on both sides thereof and is of a predetermined thickness, and has an air bubble generation preventing means for preventing air bubbles from being trapped between the adhesive surface and a target surface when the pad is adhesively fixed to the target surface. Since the thus-configured thermal pad for a secondary battery according to the present invention has the air bubble generation preventing means applied thereto, the thermal pad can perfectly adhere to a target surface, even if the target surface is not flat and smooth, and thus can increase heat dissipation and adhesion efficiency.
