Organic EL (OEL) has the potential to contribute significantly to our automotive lifestyles in the near future. Some of the advantages of OEL are: For these characteristics, OEL is superior to existing displays. On the other hand, a couple of problems require further development: display life and color variation. When these problems are solved, OEL will make a significant contribution to automobile comfort and intelligent vehicle systems.
