Natural convection inside a square shaped cavity coupled with triangular conducting steel bodies at bottom is considered herein with the placement of heat source underneath the lower wall. The main objective is to boost the heat allocation rate, which is necessary for many engineering appliances. The inclusion is subjected to various relevant input parameters like Rayleigh number ( R a ), varied from 10 3 to 10 6 and positioning of conducting bodies ( d / H ) varied from 0 to 2/5. The problem realm is discretized utilizing the finite volume tactic while the SIMPLE algorithm and Gauss-Seidel iterative technique are used to acquire solution of the representing equations. It has been eminent that behaviors of heat movement and entropy production profoundly vary with R a and locations of conducting bodies. The rate of heat allocation enlarges with R a and separation distance of two conducting bodies. To obtain better design of thermal appliance, conducting bodies having higher separation distance is preferred as it results in a smaller amount of entropy production and relatively higher heat allocation rate.
