The article considers characteristic features of a knowledge-intensive enterprise operation, which form the basis in implementing a modern system of customer relationship management (CRM). Key tasks of introducing a CRM system at the knowledge-intensive enterprises include prompt adaptation to the existing market conditions and achieving recognition in the foreign markets, generation of key competitive advantages through efficient information processing. And in this situation, effective introduction of the CRM system means controlled growth in sales that could not be achieved by other methods due to a number of the knowledge-intensive product characteristics.
