The use of nuclear power sources in space missions can save traveling time and mass consumption. However, if it is not treated carefully, it can be dangerous. Realizing the danger posed by nuclear power sources when they are used in space missions, the United Nations adopted two international rules, NPS Principles, and the Safety Framework. Both provisions aim to protect humans and Earth's environment from the danger owned by nuclear power. Since the purpose of those two provisions is to protect humans and the environment, it is important to see the interlinkage between NPS Principles, the Safety Framework, and the human security framework. Five basic principles of human security were used to analyze NPS Principles and the Safety Framework. The analysis result shows that NPS Principles and the Safety Framework can fulfill five principles of human security. The fact that NPS Principles and the Safety Framework can fulfill five principles of human security shows the interlinkage among them.
