Real-time, on-demand mobility systems have gradually changed transportation. However, they often cannot meet all demands at peak times, especially for passengers entering or leaving the airports. The popularity of ‘sharing’ may solve such problems. For airport access, our research proposed a heuristic algorithm to provide a dynamic large-scale vehicle sharing method. Three different pick-up and drop-off strategies were compared to illustrate their behaviors under different circumstances, based on a representative high-demand case of serving all inbound and outbound passengers at Shenzhen Bao’ an International Airport. With the increasing passengers, first, it is more appropriate to choose Strategy 3, then when the number of passengers approaches the capacity, Strategy 2 changes to be better. This system makes it possible to provide decision support on the implementation of sharing services, which is considered a desirable way to create a low carbon city.
