The implementation of the CABLE Liner Shuttle System at the Birmingham Airport is described. The project has been installed on time and budget. This people mover system demonstrates its flexibility to fit into difficult, existing fixed facilities constraints. It is shown that this smaller and simpler system is well suited for a medium size airport which must optimize its financial exposure.
