The new IHI APM system integrates numerous advancements in passenger convenience and comfort. Through detailed numerical analysis and data acquisition procedures performed on a dedicated IHI test track, passenger ride quality advancements now set a new market benchmark for rubber tired technology. Similarly, the HVAC subsystem integrates new `smart' system features designed to optimize passenger comfort and reduce energy consumption.
