Direct consequence of wheel/rail interaction of heavy-haul is cause of wheel/rail wear. Cost of railway operation is affected by wheel/rail wear. It is important that investigate the actual situation of wheel/rail wear for heavy haul railway freight cars. Because, only grasp the real condition of wheel wear, is the basic conditions for further the wheel wear problem. It is either verified or negated for reporting issues under investigation through simulation modeling. Reporting issues under investigation are verified based on simulation analysis for heavy-haul railway freight car of Chinese Daqin railway. In order to further improve techno-economics of heavy-haul railway freight transport, put forward the direction of the further development of heavy-haul railway freight car and the suggestion.
