With the background of the construction of the Shanghai Metro Line 13 shield tunnel undercrossing the Shanghai Maglev, the concept of comprehensive technical monitoring was proposed and was successfully applied to deformation control for the Maglev structure when the Metro Line 13 shield tunnel passed under the Shanghai Maglev protected area, ensuring the safe operation of the Maglev. The requirements for deformation monitoring and the comprehensive monitoring methods for the Maglev structure were studied and proposed, and the additional deformation of the Maglev structure caused by external construction were effectively controlled, which is of great significance to guide comprehensive technical monitoring of subsequent similar high precision projects.
