The rapid growth of urban traffic demand and the rapid increase in car ownership brings a big problem of environmental issues. In modern society, people's lives are getting heavier and heavier quality, and people pay more attention to the quality of the living environment. Electric vehicles will be widely used in the future with characteristics like non-pollution, saving energy, and low noise, but the battery capacity limits their travel distance. Based on the travel distance limit, this paper presents a mathematical programming model for the distance-constrained traffic assignment problem, and it follows the Wardropian equilibrium principle. At the end of the paper, the improved Origin-Based Algorithm of the distance-constrained traffic assignment problem model is simply introduced.
