The regularity of track is a control factor which influences the safety of vehicles. For many foundation underpinning projects crossing existing rail transit tracks, the displacement of the underpinned foundation must be controlled within a reasonable range, which helps ensure the regularity of the track. Using the pile underpinning project of Tianjin-Binhai light railway as an example, this paper analyzes the impact on the regularity of track imposed by simulation calculation with software of ANSYS and Adams/Rail and test. The research results indicate: during underpinning, the change of static track regularity was lower than the controlled value of the criterion; the running safety indicators including the derailment coefficient (DC) and the reduction rate of wheel load (RRWL) were both under the limited value of norms. The underpinning of Tianjin-Binhai light railway bridge did not impose obvious impact on the regularity of the track, and the allowable displacement of underpinned pier is reasonable.
