Direction-tree theory adopts the up to date researching harvest in psychology, behavior theory and transportation, and it can simulate the behavior of individual choosing the travel route accurately. Direction-tree model is linearity correlation with the degree of road network, and can reduce the calculate cost and complexity of former travel route choosing model. This paper attempts using direction-tree theory on multi-path assignment model of urban transportation, and introduces controls parameter of effective path which can control the assignment result's precision degree. Direction-tree transportation assignment model is suitable for complicated urban road network especially.
