Fatigued driving of long-distance bus drivers can bring serious potential safety hazards, and it is necessary to establish a standard shuttle system for passenger transport enterprise to ensure safety and improve market competitiveness. Some regulations and safety countermeasures for passenger transportation in foreign countries are introduced. Connecting with the actual situation, a mathematical model is established for the node locations of a long-distance passenger transport shuttle system. The hours-of-service regulations are satisfied in this model, and the total transportation cost is minimized at the same time. The model is then verified through Lingo, and the result shows that it can be used to solve the nodes location problem of shuttle transport system effectively.
