The definition of train operation conflict on high-speed railways is given. How the train operation interferences lead to train operation conflicts on high-speed railway is studied. What's more, the characteristic that the buffer time in the train diagram can decrease or eliminate the interferences caused by train delays is analyzed too. After studying the mechanism of how the buffer time in the train diagram absorbs train operation conflicts on high-speed railway, a system dynamics flow graph about the mechanism of train operation conflict on high-speed railways is given.
