In recent years, along with our country's regional track traffic network planning and construction being advanced, there are many questions proposed in practice. In accordance with these questions, this paper elaborates on the interrelationship among the key links in regional traffic network planning and proposes some new opinions that demand analysis should go through the network planning in the entire process. With the channel as the main body, the "hypothesis-iteration" method deals with linking-ups in the synthetic traffic system. The total output on the channel is restrained by the output of each node. The division of traffic ways on the channel should take the entire process on a journey into consideration and so on. Meanwhile it discusses the function localization in the network skeleton planning and the method of the linking-up with thee urban district network. Finally it forwards the new point of regional fast line planning.
