Urban public bicycle system is made up of rental stations and bicycle roads. In order to further study layout optimizing method of urban public bicycle rental stations, complex network theory was introduced. Basing on complex network theory, urban public bicycle rental stations network was converted into topology structure and the method of constructing complex network on urban public bicycle rental stations was put forward. Through analyzing the basic property index of public bicycle complex network, such as average shortest path length, clustering coefficient and degree distribution, it was ascertained network type of public bicycle rental stations. Then, the important hubs of rental stations could be found and the method of optimizing complex network of urban public bicycle rental station was put forward. The analysis result showed that the complex network type of the public bicycle rental stations was ascertained by analyzing of the network topology characteristic and the study method was used to optimize deployment of public bicycle rental stations. Taking an example for urban public bicycle rental stations of Qingshan district in Wuhan city, it is concluded that the method of analyzing urban public bicycle rental stations network based on the complex network is operable.
