Pedestrian traffic plays an important part in traffic systems. Pedestrian traffic violation, rather than vehicles, is one of the main causes of traffic accidents at at-grade intersections. In this article, in order to analyze various behavior responses to the red indication, the end of a green phase and red phase, field observations, videos, and questionnaires were undertaken to collect field data for the research. Conclusions were made and potential improvements were recommended. The research provided theoretical support on setting pedestrian crossing parameters.
