This article comprises a presentation of the aerospace industry in China and, as well as an analysis of the two complementary sectors, aeronautics and spaceflights, under the perspective of Made in China 2025strategy. Made in China 2025 strategy envisages to ranking China as an innovation power in the world and confer it with the winner position in the race for reindustrialization and hi-tech, which would imply a high degree of complexity of China’s economy and a raise of its international competitiveness. The analysis is looking to reflecting China’s position in the field, in comparison with its main competitors, US and EU, and also, to discuss new approaches of industrial and innovation policies. It will provide case studies of recent developments in Chinese aerospace industry.
