A compensation technique for rejection of the powerful narrow-band harmonics radiated by power mains is developed for application (in computer-aided system) of detection and registration of the pulse emissions radiated by partial or crown discharges in isolators of high-voltage power lines. The compensation algorithm for rejection of narrow-band interferences consists in the calculation of exact values of frequency, phase and amplitude of the mains’ harmonics by two points in a complex spectrum of the signal near the interference frequency, and in the formation of a compensation signal, which is to be subtracted from an initial signal.
