Airport landing area is being prepared to provide additional capacity by construction of parallel instrument runway; passenger terminal is about to undergo complete reconstruction which will yield terminal complex at least five times as large as existing terminal, and fast-growing pace of air cargo industry is being met by construction of air cargo city which will occupy airport site of approximately 200 acres; cargo city will support buildings and aircraft capable of handling in excess of 20 times cargo capacity of Philadelphia's existing cargo facilities.
