Investigation of descent brake systems of heavy duty trucks, i.e., brakes not working directly on wheels, but effecting brake action on long down hill rides; so-called motor brakes which cause motor to run as air compressor thus effectuating negative braking moment; brakes incorporated in change-over gears and gear drive as in Telma and Westral brake systems.
