Notes on conversion from steam to Diesel propulsion of Sound Steamship Lines' excursion Steamer Calvert, which was built in 1902 for passenger service and equipped at that time with 1800-hp steam plant; engine installed is Atlas Imperial 6-cyl, 4-cycle, airless injection unit with 15-in. bore and 19-in. stroke, developing 600 bhp at 300 rpm; vessel has length of 180 ft, beam 40 ft, and depth 10.3 ft.
