Passenger-train cars for "Abraham Lincoln", one of two new high-speed trains, completed at St. Charles, Mo, plant of American Car and Foundry Co, comprises eight cars, and is built of U.S.S. Cor-Ten steel; weight 780,800 lb; each 8-car train is 557 ft 10 in. long, with seating capacity of 283; trucks are of A.C.F. light-weight, single-equalizer, 4-wheel type.
