Details of 200-hp. locomotives employed to deal with work in short tunnel of 10 ft. 7 1/2 in. height connecting two sections of colliery sidings at Radstock, on Somerset and Dorset Joint Ry.; two "Sentinel" patent vertical engines have each two cylinders of 6 3/4 in. bore and 9 in. stroke; steam and exhaust poppet valves are arranged on opposite sides of cylinders, and are operated by push rods from two camshafts running in crank chamber and provided with adjustable tappets.
