Aeon rubber springs are used as sole means of suspension in Heathfield D.F. 20 dump truck; although truck weighs only 13,000 lb unladen, its gross weight is 35,400 lb; because rubber springs are employed, suspension is 300 lb lighter than equivalent laminated spring assembly; installation of Aeon springs on Foden FG 6/24 eight-wheel vehicle, operated by St. Albans Sand and Gravel Co, Ltd, is shown as example.
