Dj class Bo-Bo-Bo diesel-electric mainline locomotives built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd in Japan have 10.7 ton maximum axleload and ability to negotiate curves down to four chains radius; hydraulic dampers are fitted between each pair of secondary suspension springs for vertical spring damping, and each outer car is fitted with horizontal hydraulic damper to control lateral oscillation; main rectifier is mounted on top of alternator and also contains auxiliary rectifier for battery charging and control circuits.
