Purpose of paper is to provide estimate of effect of spacecraft vibration qualification test on vibration reliability of spacecraft system; vibration stress distribution, estimated from measurements and specification requirements, is formulated in terms of equipment qualification test level and combined with equipment strength distribution; vibration reliability of equipment is then related to that of space craft, and latter is formulated in terms of equipment qualification test level and number of equipments to be qualified; estimated reliability is given for range of vibration levels for which data were obtained.
