Paper considers, analytically and experimentally, feasibility of rocket motor using detonation wave rotating in annular combustion chamber wherein propellants are introduced continuously through injectors and expelled through annular nozzle; experiments utilizing gaseous hydrogen and oxygen and gaseous methane and oxygen were conducted in annular rocket motor; single Chapman-Jouguet wave was realized successfully for first cycle but subsequent cycles of wave were not obtained; analyses indicated that such motor is feasible and therefore worth consideration.
