Triple screw towboat with modified "V" type hull of welded steel, built by Sturgeon Bay Ship Building and Dry Dock Co, for Indian River Line of Wilmington, Del; powered by three Model 38 opposed piston, 10-cyl, 2-cycle, Fairbanks-Morse Diesel engines, direct connected to three 68-in. Coolidge cast steel propellers and operated from pilot house with Westinghouse Air Brake Co controls. (See also Diesel Progress v 14 n 12 Dec 1948 p 38-9)
