Rome Termini Station begun before the war, but amended for financial reasons is approaching completion; design provides for main block, fronting Piazza, 750 ft long and 90 ft high, containing offices and various installations for handling passenger traffic; there are 22 platform faces served by equal number of roads; feature of track layout is that six double lines converging on station run parallel to within short distance of platforms; all services are electrically worked.
