Austin and Son; oa length 252 ft; breadth 36 ft 6 in.; depth molded 16 ft 6 in.; speed 10.5 knots; there are three holds, with MacGregor steel hatch covers fitted to all three; propelled by triple expansion steam engine developing 850 ihp at 89 rpm; 750 ihp at 85 rpm.
