Training methods at Helicopter Utility Squadron Two, stationed at Naval Air Station, Lakehurst, NJ; aviators reporting are experienced aviators from all phases of fleet and shore aviation; approximately 40 hr of flying, divided into three stages and two types of helicopters, comprise basic training syllabus; fourth stage of about 13 hr, flown in Navy's large Piasecki HRP-1 model.
