New Dunlop plate brake for aircraft claimed to have excellent capacity/weight ratio, is simple in construction, easy to service and maintain, and has good ventilation which allows plates to cool rapidly after braking; complete absence of vibration and noise; brake can bring 34,000-lb aircraft, landing at 105 mph, to rest in 15 sec.
