Segregation of traffic can be applied in diverse ways, e.g. in relation to destination, classes of road users, grade separation and traffic light signals; data on road width, traffic lanes, curbs, etc; care and maintenance of surface of highways is most significant contribution to safety which can be made by highway engineer.
