Article explains how 45-yr old balloon type train shed at station of Pennsylvania at Pittsburgh, Pa was dismantled quickly and safely and with minimum interruption to traffic as part of major program of improvements to station facilities; work involved handling of 2318 tons of structural steel and approximately 200,000 sq ft of roof sheathing and other roofing materials.
